ELECTRICAL SOCIRTY AT GLAITM (E-SOC)

E-SOC the electrical society came into existence on 17th march 05, under the able guidance of Pro.Basu, Chairperson and HOD Electrical Electronics Deptt. The future vision of E-SOC is to enhance the abilities and quality with in the students to face the challenge of outer world.

As E-SOC is by student of the students and for the students and thus it can be stated that the student are the main force behind E-SOC. E-SOC family comprises of more than 200 members. The society has already started efforts to get the registration from IEEE. E-SOC activities include personality development prog. GD’s, workshop, mock interviews , seminar and other sports and cultural activities.

The beginning of events of E-SOC was marked by posters and slogan writing competition organized on the occasion of HOLI followed by a technical paper presentation on the auspicious occasion of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Jayanti.
