Provides full-text access to IEEE transactions, Journals, magazines and conference proceedings published since 1988 plus select content back to 1950. and all current IEEE statndards.

Working Hours

The Central Library remains open as per the following schedule:

Monday to Saturday                 08:00 AM - 12:00 (mid night)

Sunday & Holidays               10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Services:

Open Access System:  The entire library collection including books can be searched through the OPAC. Users can get the information about their desired books whether they are available or not. Users can also check the status of loaned books.

Book Bank Facility:  The Central Library has also a separate book bank section from where books are issued to the students. This facility was started in the year 2004-2005.

Photo Copy Facilities:  Photocopy facility is available at cost 60 paise per page in Central Library on all working days. The facility is located in a separate room in front of Circulation Desk on the first floor.

Inter Library Loan Scheme:Under the Inter Library Loan Scheme material not available in our library is procured from other or sister institutions on Inter Library Loan for meeting the special needs of all potential readers.

Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) : Since 19th September 2000, Central Library adopted OPEN ACCESS System in which the reader goes to the shelf and chooses a book from the shelves and brings it to the Circulation Desk.

Inter Library Loan Scheme:  Central Library arranges to borrow the documents that are not available in its collection, on Inter Library Loan from DELNET (Developing Library Network) and other institutes’ Libraries for academic and research purpose. 

Internet :  All sections and computer lab, which have got about 33 computers, are networked together and connected to 8 MBPS-leased line for Internet. Computer center is opened for Internet & Project Works during the institute hours.

Electronic Journals:  Central Library also provides an online access to over 241 journals published by IEEE, IEE, in electronic form. A separate lab of 24 computers is made available inside library for this purpose. However, these e-resources can also be accessed from any where in the campus by users.
