About the Central Library :

The library spread over 1400 sq.m. is situated on the first floor of the Administrative Block providing easy access to all faculty members and students. The library hosts a spacious air-conditioned reading room with a seating capacity of 100 students at a time. It has over 50947 books in various disciplines.  It also subscribes to more than 44 magazines and 76 Indian and Foreign Journal. The Central Library users will be able to access online journals of IEEE from July 2003 onwards, through INDEST-AICTE Consortium (Indian National Digital Library in Science and Technology). The library is linked with DELNET (Developing Library Network) , the users of Central Library enjoy the access of reading materials through this network also. It is fully linked with internet and intranet.. The Institute uses a Library Management Software, Alice for Window. The users know the availability status of the books through the software OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue).
