Dress Code

Students must adhere to the formal dress code prescribed for lectures as well as practical session on campus. A dress code enables an Institute to instill the very basic dimension of professional etiquette in its student. It also creates visual uniformity, especially since India is a nation where diversity abounds and each student is from a different cultural and financial background than the other. This visual uniformity also prevents discrimination and helps in generating an atmosphere of mutual respect.

 

Girls -

Summer:-White Salwaar Kurta with Steel Gray Dupatta and  Black Shoes.

Winter:- White Salwaar Kurta with Steel Gray Dupatta, Blue  Blazer and Black Shoes.

 

Boys -

Summer:- White Shirt, Steel Gray Trouser, Black Belt with Plain Buckle,Tie (of Institution) and Black Leather Shoes with Gray/Black Socks.

Winter:- White Shirt, Steel Gray Trousers, Blue Blazer ,Black Belt with Plain Buckle, Tie(of Institution) and Black Leather Shoes with Gray/Black Socks

 

Attendance

The Students in a professional institution are required to be regular & therefore at GLAIPS they are required to attend all classes i.e., they should attain 100% attendance, due to unavoidable reasons a minimum of 75% is a must in each subject to appear in the exams in each semester. If a student fails to fulfill this minimum requirement, as per the norms of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra, he/she will not be allowed to appear in university examination.

 

Discipline

Discipline is an essence for creating & sustaining a congenial learning environment. At  G.L.A.I.P.S. discipline is embodied at all levels, irrespective of it being students or staff-members. All the students are required to demonstrate the highest level of decorum & strictly adhere to the code of conduct

• Ragging in any form is strictly banned & is a punishable offence as per the provisions of law.
• Bunking lectures/Lab/Tutorials/Co-Curricular activities will be treated as a serious indisciplinary act.

• Any damage/loss to Institute's property will invite strict action and heavy fine.

• Chewing & Spitting of Tobacco/Pan Masala is strictly prohibited.
• Use of Mobile phones during classes will invite strict action.
• Mobile phones with camera are strictly banned and will be confiscated if found.

Any form of immoral behavior/ Violation of code of conduct/ disobeying Instructions of Proctorial board or guilty of any indisciplinary activity may result in suspension or termination of studentship.
