ROOMS
The
lecture rooms at GLAIPR conform to the
highest standards ensuring collective
and continuous learning.
Airconditional lecture theatres are
fitted with all modern electronic
gadgets empowering the teacher with
access to global and contemporary
methods of teaching. Open air theatre,
spacious conference and seminar halls
provide complementing interfaces to
the teachers and the taught juncture.
LIBRARY
The
vibrant hub of intellectual
amalgamation viz. library is
aesthetically designed to provide the
readers comfort in all domains.
Starting with about 1800 books in the
first year of inception, to-day the
library has 3409 books approximately
comprising of 453 titles. The books
accounting is being processed through
software. The state-of-the-art
networked infrastructure via intranet,
internet and DEL-NET would provide
access to various national and
international libraries. To start with
the institute has subscribed to seventeen
journals out of which four are foreign.
The Book Bank facility is being
successfully carried out.
COMPUTER
CENTRE
The
radical shift from conventional to
contemporary methods of teaching makes
computer and computerization an
integral aspect of learning.
Information search, analysis, testing
and investigation are the essence of
Pharmaceutical Education not to
mention that they all are IT
dependent. Computer centre at the
institute is fully equipped with
Pentium-4 configuration and all modern
softwares to keep the students abreast
with the fast changing needs of the
Pharmaceutical industries. Twenty four
hours internet accessibility is
provided to the students and labs are opened up to 10 p.m. so that the
students can access all the
information required to keep them
fully abreast with the latest
researches taking place anywhere and
everywhere across the globe. The
extension of the computer laboratory
with language lab would help the
students to learn foreign language
too.
LABORATORIES
The
laboratories of GLAIPR are planned and
well equipped so that the students
working there get interested in this
subject more and more. It is the
utmost desire the management to make
the students of pharmacy exposed the
different machineries used in
pharmaceutical world so that when they
actually go in the practical field
they are not confronted with abnormal
situation.
