About the Institute Message from Director Courses Faculty The Infrastructure  

Prof. Pradeep Mishra, a Ph.D. in pharmacy, brings along with him 31 years of teaching and research experience He specialises in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Before joining this institute Dr. Mishra was carrying out the responsibility of Dean, Faculty of Technology, Dr. H. S. Gaur Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar M.P. (One of the prestigious institute so far as Pharmaceutical education is concerned)in addition to his regular duties of teaching and research. His academic achievements are: about a dozen Ph.D’s, Sixty M. Pharm. dissertations and nearly eighty publications in national and international journals. He is also on the panel of experts for journals like Indian Journal of Natural Product, Indian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Indian Journal of Chemical Society etc.

Dr. Mishra has taken up the responsibility on his shoulder to set up the institute of Pharmaceutical Research in the GLA, where latest and updated knowledge of Pharmaceutical sciences is being provided to the B. Pharm. students under his worthy guidance along with the qualified and experienced faculty members. The training in Pharmacy would be in such a way that they can meet the challenges of to-morrow.

The G.L.A. Institute of Pharmaceutical Research, Mathura has entered in its second year of inception. In this period the institute has completed construction of the out of the three storey building plan, the first floor and has taken up the construction of the second floor. A number of equipments/apparatus have been procured to furnish the added laboratories in the first floor.

            We are developing this institute is such a way that the students get more and more interested as enthusiastic towards the profession which would go a long way in their professional practical life. The management is very keen to develop this as Institute of Excellence. Once the development of infrastructure is over I am confident that the institute would be second to none in the state of Uttar Pradesh and the country as whole.
